Does your child like drawing, painting and making art? Would they like to learn how to draw new things and create fun projects? Then Art Explorations is for them! In this class we will use the supplies you have at home including: colored pencils, watercolors, oil pastels, crayons, old magazines, and construction paper to make masterpieces! We will be inspired by cartoonists, art movements, art masters, and each other to develop our own art and artistic voice. We will learn to draw from sight, make comics, create animals out of paper and much more. This class is a fun exciting way to explore our imaginations and develop our art practice! This camp is open to K-5th grade students.
Does your child like to create cute, useful and fun things with their hands? If so then Virtual Sew Awesome is for them! Virtual Sew Awesome is hand sewing class for students in K-5th grade (Kindergartner's and students new to sewing will need some adult support to help with knots and tangles). In this class students will receive a kit of pre-cut projects and supplies that we will sew together during our class sessions on Zoom.
Does your child love discovering new mediums and creating things with their hands? If so then Virtual Ceramics is for them! Virtual ceramics is a hands-on sculpture class open to k-5th grade students. Ms. Crystal is partnering with Richmond Clay House to fire all of the works in the kiln. Each student will receive a kit of clay and glaze that they will use to make professional grade ceramics during our class meetings on Zoom.
